The Tokusa series with straight lines takes its name from the plant Tokusa. Each line, hand-painted by the staff on the inside and outside of the vessel, expresses a unique personality, and the rhythmic brushstrokes enhance the charm of the vessel. This series is available in two colors. The variations in the thickness of the lines and the shades of the glaze create a simple, warm atmosphere that enhances the flavour of the dishes. The vessels are made of white barren clay. Unique patterns are formed during the firing process.
