The Water Jade series of rice bowls is known for its hand-painted pattern of large, irregular dots, combining terra cotta and a recessed inner colour scheme that appeals to all ages. The rust-coloured surfaces are rich and varied, and each bowl is unique. Each bowl is coated with a translucent, particulate glaze that contains tiny particles that give it a rough texture and prevent the rice from sticking. The use of translucent glaze adds a tactile and distinctive expression.
